Be a part of IMAN in networking Indian Muslim voluntary service organizations (NGOs) with donor/volunteer community worldwide

  • Register all NGOs you are associated with/aware about with IMAN  and help NGOs to reach more people and volunteers
  • Submit campaigns associated with the NGO (please register to use this feature)
  • Share your experience with an NGO, by providing your valuable review comments
  • Help keep the calendar updated with the latest programs and events related to progress of the community
  • Discuss issues related to Indian Muslims in IMAN forum
  • Spread the word about IMAN amongst NGOs, volunteer/donors and needy

Residential Home for Destitute Girls and Orphans PDF Print E-mail

ImageOne of the crying needs of Goripalya Slum of Bangalore is a residential home for destitute girls and orphans. Many children get abandoned are left to face a harsh life at tender ages. To help such children, Humane Touch is planning to set up a home to house about 50 girls.

Image The majority of the residents of Netaji Nagar area of Vaniyambadi are daily wage labourers, most of them are illiterate and are little concerned about the education of their children. Motivating them to send their children to school is an uphill task. Child labour is also rampant in this area that every child, after his fifth year, is seen as a potential earner.
